IGC Now Holds Teams in All Major Esports Franchise Leagues

LOS ANGELES (JULY 1, 2019) -- Immortals Gaming Club (IGC) announced today that it has secured the Los Angeles team in the upcoming city-based Call of Duty competition. IGC’s franchise will be represented by recently acquired, OpTic Gaming.

"Clearly OpTic is a premier Call of Duty brand,” said Peter Levin, Managing Director of Griffin Gaming Partners and Chairman of the IGC Board of Directors. “We are excited to work with our partners at Activision Blizzard to ensure that OpTic continues to play that leading role in Call of Duty's future."

Today Minnesota also announced it has joined the league, alongside previously announced teams in Atlanta, Dallas, New York, Paris, and Toronto.

IGC, which operates the LA Valiant in Overwatch League, now operates two Los Angeles-based esports teams.

IGC now holds teams in each of the major franchised esports: Overwatch League (LA Valiant), League of Legends (OpTic Gaming currently; Immortals starting in 2020), and Call of Duty (OpTic Gaming).
